The Don Chapin Company is working with a local developer, Valley Community Homes of Salinas, to construct a new 858 single-family residential community. This 200 acre site consists of 151 acres of housing, 12.8 acres of major streets, a 21 acre community park, and a 9 acre elementary school site. Currently, phases I and II are under construction, while phases III and IV will begin in July of 2005.
