The Don Chapin Co. has teamed up with Jacobs Heart for “Holiday Hearts”. Holiday Hearts main purpose is to put smiles on children’s faces who are battling with cancer during the holiday season. Don Chapin and staff donated gifts for “adopted families” at Jacobs Heart and created a holiday miracle for them.
For the last 20 years Jacobs Heart has supported local families of children who have cancer. Lori Butterworth, founder and executive director at Jacobs Heart considers this a “hub of love” in which the community has come together and donated gifts, meals, and groceries. Lori described 2017 as, “an extraordinary year”.
Don Chapin is a strong supporter of our community. This year Don Chapin helped with many organizations including: Jacobs Heart, The California International Airshow, California Rodeo, Relay for Life, Rancho Cielo, Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital and Foundation, The Community Foundation for Monterey County, Tatum’s Garden, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Door to Hope, Yosal, First Tee, Local Schools, Churches, and Youth Sports Clubs, just to name a few.
